I love this recipe because it’s thick and creamy, but also healthy.
Plus, you can’t go wrong with Peanut Butter and Banana. It’s the best combination ever!
This recipe serves one, but you could easily double it.
Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie Bowl Recipe:
3/4 banana (save some for topping),
3/4 cup almond milk (or other type of milk),
1 Blender Bomb,
1 tbsp Peanut Butter (or other nut butter),
1 tbsp flaxseed,
and 5 ice cubes.
All blended together.
Topped with PB granola, banana, and cacao nibs.
I like adding flaxseed in this smoothie because it has a nice nutty flavor, which compliments the PB perfectly. Flaxseed is also a good source of fiber and plant-based omega-3s. If you need more protein in your smoothie, I’d recommend adding some greek yogurt to it. Stay away from those protein powders and other supplements. Also, make sure to read the nutrition labels. It’s better to get your nutrients from whole real foods.
